The roof ladder is mounted on the roof if the slope angle is more than 8 °. It leads from the wall ladder or from the roof hatch to the chimney - so that it can be cleaned regularly.

A wall ladder provides safe access to the roof. They are attached to strong frame structures of the house - only then the installation will be reliable.

Requirements for installing stairs:

the top step should be flush with the edge of the cornice (accuracy ± 100mm),
height of the lower step - 1-1.2 m from ground level,
the upper legs of the stairs are as close as possible to the eaves,
if the length of the support pipes exceeds 600mm, additional fastening to the eaves is required,
the distance from the ladder to the wall is adjustable from 200 mm to 1.5 m (100 mm step).
